Kalinka Doneva, QPA, QKA
Kalinka has provided benefits administration and consulting services for sixteen years. Prior to founding Retirement Benefits Designs, LLC, Kalinka was a Senior Manager for many years in the retirement benefits department of a national accounting firm in New York City. In that capacity, Kalinka provided client consulting and administration management services for a large number of clients of various sizes and a wide variety of retirement plans.
Her expertise includes: retirement plan document designs and implementation; compliance assistance to plan fiduciaries; non-discrimination testing; plan administration, plan document amendments and restatements; assistance in plan audits by the Department of Labor and the Internal Revenue Service, fiduciary compliance, plan terminations and mergers, self-correction and voluntary correction programs for defined contribution plans.
Kalinka has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering. She is a member of the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA) since 2001 and has achieved the Society's designations of a Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA) and a Qualified Pension Administrator (QPA) through extensive studies and exams related to retirement benefits plans. Kalinka is also a member of the Huntington Chamber of Commerce, the Society for Human Resource Management and various other business and professional organizations.
Greg has been working with retirement plans for over thirteen years. Client service and integrity are his number one priority. Greg is very experienced in administration for large 401(k) and profit sharing plans, as well as conversions, preparation of various plan designs and complex contribution calculations for employers of various sizes. He has worked as a benefits consultant and third-party administrator with large benefits firms in New York and has been managing and training employees for many years. Greg is very experienced with various recordkeeping platforms and has high technical skills and expertise in all areas of defined contribution plans, including assistance to plan sponsors with IRS audits and plan correction programs. Greg has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics and has taken various exams with the American Society for Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA).
